Earlier this year when Jake Paul was training to fight Ben Askren, Tyson Fury was heavily pushing for his younger brother Tommy to get in the ring against Jake. Jake shook of Tyson’s challenge stating that if Tommy wanted a crack at him then why doesn’t Tommy call him out instead of Tyson pushing it? Well that is exactly what Tommy did. He put it out there that he wanted a shot at Jake.

Fast forward four and a half months later and Tommy is fighting on the undercard of Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley.

Frank Warren broke the news on Sunday in a press release stating that Tommy will fight on the undercard of Paul vs Woodley. It will be his first of a two fight deal with Showtime and should he perform exceptionally well a future fight with Jake could be possible. Tommy will square off against Anthony ‘Pretty Boy’ Taylor who is himself an MMA fighter who has sparred with Jake Paul.

Tommy last fought on June 5th in a fight against unbeaten Jordan Grant. It was a tough fight in which Tommy was victorious and he learned quite a bit against his first undefeated opponent. It is an experience he will need to push him forward and use in his upcoming bout against Taylor in order to secure a fight with Jake should he perform spectacularly.
