Boxing fans are highly anticipating an announcement of whom the Gypsy King Tyson Fury will step into the ring with next. Deontay Wilder seems like a long shot with everything that has gone on since Fury stopped Wilder. Anthony Joshua seems like the most obvious option.
Not too long ago Eddie Hearn stated that there has been an agreement for the two to square off but we have yet to get an official announcement. That doesn’t mean that the hype can’t be built up whether an announcement is made or not.
Yesterday Joshua posted a couple of flicks to Instagram with the caption “a great modern-day fighter will be able to compete in any era.” It didn’t take long for Fury to notice and throw a verbal jab Joshua’s way.
“A great? My arse! You got KTFO by a chubby kid who had 3 weeks notice. You are great at looking good in pics I must say.”
