Undefeated Kalajdzic to headline “Bombs Away 4”

Radivoje KalajdzicUndefeated light heavyweight Radivoje “Hot Rod” Kalajdzic will headline Mad Integrity Fight Sports’ “Bombs Away 4” Saturday, October 10 at the Florida Orange Event Center in Lakeland.

Tickets to “Bombs Away 4” are $30 for general admission and $60 for VIP. They are available now at Madbombsaway4.bpt.me or by visiting Atomic Tattoos in Lakeland and Bulldog Boxing & Fitness in Tampa. All VIP ticket holders 21 years and older will receive free beer from Brew Hub. Doors open at 6:30 pm with the opening bell scheduled for 7. Prior to the main event, American Idol finalist Jeremy Rosado will sing the national anthem.

Born in Bosnia, Kalajdzic moved to St. Petersburg, FL in 1998 and has called it his home ever since. Best known simply as “Hot Rod”, the 24-year-old made his professional debut in 2011 following a brief amateur career and has been nothing short of sensational. A talented boxer-puncher with plenty of God-given ability, Kalajdzic is 19-0 with 12 wins by knockout and holds impressive victories over former contender Otis Griffin as well as Lionel Thompson.

Kalajdzic will face an opponent to be named shortly, and the bout is presented in association with DiBella Entertainment.

Wauchula, FL’s Ruben “Chino” Ozuna is slated to meet hard-nosed veteran Bobby Hill of Mississippi in the semi-main event of the evening. Ozuna, 4-1, has a fan friendly style and will have a large group of supporters backing him for this lightweight contest. One of boxing’s true tough guys, Hill’s faced a number of top fighters during his 28 fight career.

Miami native Armando “The Gentleman” Alvarez puts his 7-0 ledger on the line when he meets fellow Sunshine State pugilist Juan Aguirre of Jacksonville in a junior middleweight contest.

Cruiserweight Paul “Pay Per View” Parker of Toledo, OH returns to the ring in a special attraction bout against an opponent TBA. Parker’s last two wins came via stoppage against foes with a combined 12-1 record, but he is looking to rebound from a June TKO defeat to Vyacheslav Shabranskyy.

In four-round undercard bouts, Rafael “Junito” Rivera of Tampa faces Orlando’s Cleveland McClean, Quincy, FL’s Leonardo Kenon squares off against Georgia native Greg Faust and hometown favorite Leanthony “Tyga” Fleming of Lakeland will test his talents versus Randy Hedderick of Louisiana. Tori “Ruthless” Ramirez, Christina Swanson-Campfort, Michael Guillen, “King” Kenmon Evans and Ricky “Cowboy” Tomlinson will all appear against opponents to be announced.
