Nicaraguan junior welterweight prospect Walter Castillo has been inching closer and closer to securing a fight in the U.S. which is something the fighter from Managua has wanted for quite some time.
It was recently brought to light that Castillo was offered a spot on the Chavez-Vera 2 undercard but he had to turn it down due to other obligations. But when one door closes another one opens.
There has been an offer placed on the table for Castillo to fight on ESPN and his promoters (Prodesa Promotions and Dream Team) have been working hard to make that a reality. As far as whom his opponent for that fight will be, Adrian Granados is likely to land the spot as Castillo’s opponent.
