Prodesa Promotions along with Teiken Promotions and Zanfer Promotions will be putting on a set of fights in Managua, Nicaragua featuring Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez headlining in his second fight this year against Francisco “Chihuas” Rodriguez Jr. of Mexico.
Gonzalez was late by a half hour to the weigh-ins which resulted in him receiving a fine. He weighed in at 112.5 pounds. Rodriguez weighed in at 112 pounds even.
The co- main event features another Mexico vs. Nicaragua showdown with Juan Carlos Sanchez Jr. weighing two pounds over the contracted weight limit. He came in at 119 pounds and his opponent Darwin zamora came in at 116 pounds even. Zamora decided to still take the fight even though the agreed upon weight was not met by his opponent and he was compensated for it.
The fights will take place on TV Azteca on September 21st.
