The road to August 14th has been a difficult one with everything that’s going on in the world. Lives and careers were forced to be put on hold and the hope to continue living a normal life may be anything but normal no matter how much we try to make it that way. Thankfully we have sports in our lives and thank God that many of these athletes can return to competing to earn money to live their lives while entertaining our lives.
Alycia Baumgardner and Vanessa Bradford are less than 24 hours away from their return to the ring. Both fighters have been inactive for almost two years but have trained while they can and let their bodies heal (with an injury or two along the way). But now the time has come where the gloves must be dusted off and it’s time to whoop some ass but first the fighters had to hit the scales.
Alycia Baumgardner weighed in earlier today at 132.8 lbs
Vanessa Bradford weighed in at 132.4 lbs
The two will square off in an eight round bout Saturday night on the FITE app at 7 P.M. EST. Make sure you tune in and get your popcorn ready cuz it’s about to heat up in Orlando.
