Zachary Ochoa put his skills on display in his hometown of Brooklyn today, live at the Barclays Center. Ochoa showed maturity in his 4 round unanimous decision win. Young Zachary stood poised and patient behind his jab, schooling that he picked up from the knowledge instilled in him by his trainer and coach Kelly Richardson.
Zachary Ochoa improved his record to (4-0, 3 KOs). Ochoa will have a promising future as long as he keeps his wining ways. Working hand and hand with Golden Boy Promotions, while not having a contractual agreement yet, all of young Zachary’s fights have been on the undercards of big Golden Boy events, helping to pack the house.
Ochoa’s opponent Calvin Smith falls to 2-3, while putting forth a spirited effort. Ochoa has been looking good and most likely will be back at the Barclays Center on June 22nd for Broner vs. Malignaggi. Follow Zachary Ochoa and his career on twitter @ZacharyOchoa.
