Anthony Joshua was originally set to square off against Kevin Johnson in the O2 Arena on January 31st, but a back injury forced a postponement to the fight. Joshua is currently recuperating from a par stress fracture in his lower back but aims to return to the ring sometime in April.
Joshua explained to iFLTV, the postponement and therapy he has undergone has helped his back tremendously, and he is focusing on making a full recovery.
Even if he is unable to return to his top notch physical form, he still plans to return to the ring on April 4 or the 25th. Joshua elucidated the fact every fighter always has to deal with some nagging injury coming into the fight, and this particular case will be no different.
