Bryant-Cruz-2-360x238This Friday night, November 21 at Resorts World Casino New York City, New Legend Boxing returns with a packed night of boxing.

In the main event, Bryant “Pee Wee” Cruz (12-0, 6 KO’s) of Port Chester, New York will risk his undefeated record when he takes on Engleberto Valenzuelä (9-3, 3 KO’s) of Mexico in a Super Featherweight bout scheduled for 8 rounds.

Cruz knows that this is a good measuring stick as Valenzuela has fought some undefeated fighters including hot shot prospect Felix Verdejo.

“I have seen one film on him and I know he has fought some undefeated guys. I think he freezes when he steps up in competition,”said Cruz.

Cruz is doing all the right things to keep his record perfect as the competition gets better.

“I am working hard everyday. I am giving 110%. I am starting to see with each fight, It is getting tougher. I know each fight will be hard and I know I can’t take anyone lightly. I am just going in there and I am doing what I have to do to win.”

A win on Friday night, could be the springboard to a big 2015 for Cruz.

“I am trying to get those television fights in 2015. I know I will step up the competition and keep climbing the ladder and up the rankings. I know all that will come as I am staying focused and not being distracted,”finished the 24 year-old Cruz.
