FullSizeRender-6Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., the former middleweight titlist who has been out of the ring for almost a year, Chavez Jr., is set to face light heavyweight contender Andrzej Fonfara on April 18. Despite his former promoter Bob Arum saying that he will see Chavez in court.

Outside of some Legal Mumbo-Jumbo, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr has some very lucrative offers that could stand to make the Mexican star some serious cash flow. Chavez Jr has options, for started the biggest and probably most noteworthy and financially a fight with Londons Carl Forch is by far the best option.

Carl Froch’s stunning win over George Groves at Wembley in May can now officially be declared the biggest grossing fight on British soil in history. Carl Froch has had many great nights. Knocking George Groves out in the eighth round of their rematch in front of 80,000 people at Wembley Stadium was, as he repeated a few times afterwards, “the best night of my whole career”.

Assuming Chavez Jr is willing to cross the pond, but Froch has made it perfectly clear his last hoo-rah he desires to be from Las Vegas. Maybe this one can happen.

Most recently today Bernard Hopkins took to his Twitter and said,“Carl Froch is looking for an easy way out.”

Which immediately got Julio Cesar Chavez Jr attention, he took it upon himself to challenge Bernard Hopkins add link.

What matters at the end of the day is the lone card that only Chavez Jr holds, the ratings that’s all that matters that’s how fighters get approved by the networks. Will fighter A move the needle? It’s fair to mention that Andre Ward would love a shot at Chavez Jr, which he’s expressed publicly in the past.

So in closing as long as Al Haymon can keep Chavez Jr. out of court? He will remain busy if he chooses to.

This is a picture Chavez Jr posted of his ratings show that he’s aware of the winning formula.
