253Mark Cipparone’s Club 1957 Management is proud to announce the signing of Jr. Welterweight contender Raymond “Tito” Serrano to an exclusive managerial contract.
Serrano of Philadelphia has a record of 18-2 with 8 knockouts and will be looking to get back in the win column after a 19-month break
Serrano was a much talked about amateur who had close to 120 fights and won prestigious the Jr. Olympic title in 2005, The 2005 International Gold Medal, 2005 World championships Bronze Medal, 2006 Under-19 Silver Medal and 2006 Pennsylvania Golden Gloves champion.
Serrano, who turned professional in 2007, won his first 15 bouts that included big wins over  Ashnantie Hendrickson (1-0), Jay Krupp (12-1), Ronnie Warrior Jr. (13-2-1) & Ayi Bruce (15-2).
“I am excited about signing with Mark.  With his help, I have what it takes to be a world champion,” said Serrano.
“I am looking to get back in an 8-round fight.  I am looking to have 1 or 2 tune up fights and then looking to step back up to the level of fights where I was.”
Serrano has been itching to get back in the ring and now feels rejuvenated .
“I needed the break.  I needed to think about my future in boxing.  I finally got back to a place and now I love it again.  I am looking forward to getting a couple of wins and getting a shot at a regional title and then being able to compete for a world title.”

Serrano is trained by Chino Rivas and is promoted by Joe DeGuardia’s Star Boxing.
