downloadAfter Oscar De La Hoya and Canelo Alvarez made it public that they had agreed to their side of the mega fight, all eyes turned to Miguel Cotto. But as cool as he is inside the ring, the same is outside the ring with Miguel and his team.

“There’s no pressure on us,” his advisor Gaby Peñagarícano told ESPN Deportes. “The truth is we haven’t come to an agreement yet on our side but we’re still negotiating the fight with Canelo Alvarez. But we are exploring every option,” which according to the report does not rule out a rematch with Floyd Mayweather.

Miguel Cotto arrived this weekend to start pre camp workouts with trainer Freddie Roach. Roach says Cotto is motivated and already in shape.

“He came here and was firing combinations,” stated Roach. “He’s in good shape already. Once we get the fight signed then we’ll workout camp dates but right now we’re just trying to remain in shape.

Cotto will be traveling to Las Vegas this weekend to attend the Bradley-Chaves HBO card.
