Former UFC Champion Tyrone Woodley was in Jake Paul’s locker room to supervise the hand-wrapping of Paul prior to his bout with Ben Askren. Things got a little tense in the locker room as J’Leon Love and Woodley began trading words. Love told Woodley that he “don’t know nothing” about boxing and Woodley did not know who Love was. Woodley told Love that he did not know how he got down to which Love replied I get down too. The chirping continued for a bit and Paul’s team tried to get Woodley to bet in the fight but to no avail.
Future UFC Hall of Famer and former multi-division champion Daniel Cormier did not like the way Love treated Woodley. Cormier took to Twitter to say that Love could not fight (the way MMA fighters do of course) and that he’s lucky that Woodley did not put his hands on Love.
“I mean the way this dude (Love) talked to T- wood makes my skin crawl,” Tweeted Cormier. “All these kids are going to get taught a lesson I swear. And I can’t wait for it, J’Leon Love you can’t fight. Better respect dudes like Tyrone Wooodley before he puts his hands on you. He ain’t Ben!”
This Tweet grabbed Paul’s attention.
“Okay fat boy. So me vs you & J vs. T.?” “I’m with it,” responded Love.
