It has been confirmed through his own personal Instagram that heavyweight Darmani Rock (17-0, 12KOs) will fight January 30th on PBC on FOX. The fight will be on the undercard of Caleb Plant vs. Caleb Truax.
In the post, which read, “January 30th on @pbconfox tune in, ain’t to much to talk about 🥶🤫soon to be 18-0,” Rock featured a picture of himself and his opponent for the 30th, Michael Polite Coffie.
Upon the news that Rock would face Michael Polite Coffie (11-0, 8KOs), TBV reached out to Coffie’s coach, Josue Aguilar, who confirmed the news.
This is a big-time matchup for both fighters. While Rock has been making a name for himself since the Olympics and prior to, Coffie earned a ton of respect from fans in 2020 by making a couple of fun fights, defeating Joey Abell in the process.
