felix-sturmIt’s going to be a huge event! Felix Sturm (36), a four-time World Middleweight Champion, wants to make history. He wants to be the first German Boxer to become world champion for a fifth time. But this time he will give it a try at Super Middleweight (168 pounds) against a big caliber: The highly talented Russian Fedor Chudinov (27).

Chudinov won all of his 12 fights including 10 wins by KO (83% KO-Ratio). Sturm said: “I promised to make only big fights from now on. Chudinov is seen as a highly talented and skilled Boxer with a lot of punching power. But I will take this belt to Germany”.

The fight will take place at Frankfurter Festhalle in Frankfurt/Main, which has a capacity of 10000 seats. There are tons of requests already for tickets. Sturm-Manager Roland Bebak said:

“We always wanted to make a fight in Frankfurt, but we could never ever imagine, that it would be such a big thing. Frankfurt is a city of boxing, and we’re really enjoying the great interest and resonance by the fans.”

Many Celebrities from all of Europe already said; they want to be ringside for this fight, when history is in the making by Felix Sturm. Also Sturm is happy about the WBA being the sanctioning body for this Mega-Fight, saying: “The WBA-Belt really is something special for me.”
