Super Six World Boxing Classic - The Final - Andre Ward vs Carl FrochA rematch between Carl Froch and Andre Ward has been ordered to happen in the next 120 days for Froch’s WBA “regular” Super Middleweight title. When the announcement was made, not many people put much stock into the fight because many feel Froch is waiting for a mega fight with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Ward is still sidelined with no return date in site and has been rumored to have a date for June.

Froch says he’s willing to fight Ward and keep his title but on one condition, Ward has to travel to the United Kingdom.

“I fought him in the US,” Froch said in a report by ESPN UK. “Now it’s only right that he comes over here. To be a truly great champion you have to box overseas. Ward needs to be forced to travel out of his comfort zone. I dare him. He will discover that I’m a very different animal here than I was that night on the Boardwalk.”

Froch says he’s already vacated one title, and he’s not vacating another.

“I vacated the IBF title so as not to delay James DeGale from getting his chance any longer,” Froch added. “But I’m not giving up the WBA title. No way.”
