Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan has officially made his pick between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao. I know, I’m relieved, too.
The Hulkster was on ESPN’s Sports Nation, and he revealed his pick in classic Hulk style by ripping shirts. He first ripped a shirt that displayed Mayweather’s face, earning himself boos from most of the in-studio audience, which is made up of mostly crew members. Then, he quickly ripped the Floyd shirt to display his pick of Manny Pacquiao.
However, it was all a farce as Hogan then ripped the Manny shirt to reveal a Hulk Hogan shirt, which was disappointedly not red and yellow.
The WWE Hall-of-Famer finally decided to make a real prediction and told Michelle Beadle that the fight would end in a draw in order to capitalize on the money involved in a rematch.
“There’s too much money to be made. It’s going to be a draw, brother, so they can make the money again, jack!”
Hogan might not be completely aware that boxing isn’t scripted like pro wrestling, at least not as scripted.
How deflating would it be if the Hulkster was right and the fight ends in a draw? The disappointment would be based on the fact that the rematch would probably never come to fruition, or it would take another six years to make.
