21766_300On Friday night, November 21 at Resorts World Casino New York City, New Legend Boxing returns with a packed night of boxing.

In the main event, Bryant “Pee Wee” Cruz (12-0, 6 KO’s) of Port Chester, New York will risk his undefeated record when he takes on Engleberto Valenzuelä (9-3, 3 KO’s) of Mexico in a Super Featherweight bout scheduled for 8 rounds.

One of the featured undercard bouts will see the pro debut of Ireland standout amateur Noel Murphy making his pro debut against Anthony Smith (1-3) of Brooklyn, New York in a 4-round Welterweight bout.

Murphy, just 20 years-old of Cork, Ireland and now residing in Yonkers, New York is excited to begin his career in the paid ranks after completing an 116 amateur.

“The professional game is more active. I competed for Ireland but when I got the opportunity to turn professional and come to New York, I took it,”said Murphy. ” It feels great to be in New York. I can get the best experience and best sparring here.

In Smith, all Murphy knows is that he is fighting an opponent who is a native New Yorker.

“All I know is that he is from Brooklyn but that doesn’t bother me. I have prepared for the fight.”

When asked about his style, Murphy looks to be a crowd pleaser.

“I can do a bit of everything but I focus on my power shots,” finished Murphy.
