Jermain Taylor Pleads Not Guilty to Battery Charges Against Cousin

    Jermain-TaylorJermain Taylor appeared in Circuit Court today in Arkansas and pleaded not guilty to battery and terroristic threatening charges in the shooting that occurred in his home one August 26th where Taylor shot his cousin. The trail is set for June 23-24th with a pretrial set for May 29th.

    Taylor’s attorneys are also filing a motion to suppress any statements made by Taylor that day according to the Arkansas Times.

    Taylor was allowed to leave the state and fight for the IBF middleweight title of the world in Mississippi where he defeated Sam Soliman to become the IBF champion.

    Taylor and his attorneys left the courtroom and did not comment on the news afterwards.
