Amir Khan said he was willing to fight the best and those that he listed as the best were Manny Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather, Juan Manuel Marquez, and Miguel Cotto. While everyone he named campaigns at the 147 lb. Division, Miguel Cotto is the Middleweight champion of the world. So Khan’s suggestion of Cotto drew criticism from many people, including one Floyd Mayweather Sr.
“I think he’s just running at the mouth, looking for a pay day,” Mayweather Sr. told HustleBoss.com.
Mayweather Sr. not only believes Cotto will beat Khan but, in fact, knocks him out.
“Cotto will knock his out, I know he will,” explained Mayweather Sr. He’s very much too strong for him. He ain’t got a chance with Cotto.”
