Recently Tha Boxing Voice caught up with Roger Mayweather on the possibility of a Mayweather-Pacquiao bout coming into fruition. He stated, “I hope the fight happens. Floyd called him out so why wouldn’t he take the fight.”
Roger Mayweather believes Pacquiao would be a relatively easy opponent for his nephew to beat. When asked if Pacquiao is back to top form since losing to Juan Manuel Marquez, he stated, “Pacquiao isn’t back to fight Floyd. It’s a different ball game. It’s going to be a good promotion if they fight for Floyd and Pacquiao. I think Pacquiao is going to get exactly what he’s going to get. I think he’s going to get stopped.”
