Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez was supposed to have a stay busy fight this month to keep him sharp for a possible upcoming bout with WBC champion Akira Yaegashi in August but after a falling out with his promoter, his manager and his trainer the future is unsure for the Nicaraguan fighter.
“I honestly don’t know if I will fight here (in Nicaragua) or in Japan before I fight Yaegashi,” said Gonzalez. “I don’t really know what’s coming to me in my career.”
Gonzalez is expected to make a decision in the coming months on his future with Prodesa Promotions which is set to expire soon and if he will stay with his manager and trainer.
