Prior to Connor McGregor fighting Dustin Poirier, there was talk of another mega cross-over event for the Irishman against Manny Pacquiao. Pacquiao himself was looking forward to it himself as he planned on donating a substantial amount of money to those in the Philippines affected by Covid.
The breaks seem to have been slammed on that in the form of Poirier who took the fight to McGregor and stopped him. Since then the chances of a Pacquiao fight have lost their luster and Logan Paul has even reduced his offer of fifty million dollars to ten thousand dollars, cash.
While some may dislike that neither of these may come to pass there are several that are content with it never taking place. Sergio Mora for example has hopes that we never hear of it again.
“Just caught up with McGregor getting laid out! Hope that’s the last we hear of him believing he could EVER hang with a world-class boxer,” stated Mora via Twitter.
