Tomasz Adamek Gives Back To The Jersey City Kids

Jersey City, NJ – Jersey City resident, former cruiserweight and light heavyweight champion and current IBF North American Heavyweight Champion, Tomasz “Goral” Adamek and his trainer, Roger Bloodworth will hold a workout  and Meet and Greet for Jersey City Mayor Steven M. Fulop and a contingency of children from Jersey City Recreation Boxing this Saturday, November 9th,11AM ET at World Boxing Gym in Jersey City.

 

World Boxing Gym proprietor, Adam Polulak said, “We at World Boxing Gym are excited to host this event with Mayor Fulop and Tomasz Adamek. We hope to inspire the kids who come to this event and show them that hard work and dedication really do pay off.”

 

Adamek and Bloodworth are preparing for the heavyweight’s November 16th fight against Czar Glazkov on NBC (broadcast time begins 2:30PM ET), but are happy to take some time to welcome the mayor and kids to give them a little taste of a day in the life of a professional boxer’s training camp.

 

Trainer, Roger Bloodworth said, “Tomasz and I realize it’s important to let the kids see that professional athletes are real people who work hard for what they want. We’ll show them a little of our training regimen and say hello. We look forward to meeting them.”
