Marcelino “Nino” Lopez has signs a with Golden Boy Promotions.

The 28-year-old from Arribenos, Buenos Aires, Argentina has already has a strong career as a professional boxer in South American, winning and defending several titles and maintaining a near perfect record of 31-1-1 (15 KOs).

“Golden Boy Promotions continues to strengthen its roster of fighters and adding Marcelino Lopez to the team confirms the great plans we have to find the best talent to put on the best fights for the fans,” said Oscar De La Hoya, President and Founder of Golden Boy Promotions.

The current South American Super Lightweight title holder is looking to expand his fan base and his record. Fighting almost exclusively in Argentina, the hard-hitting puncher would like to fight in a world title match all while conquering the love of North American fans.
