NEW YORK, (February 20, 2013) A number of fighters featured on the NBC Sports Networks’ FIGHT NIGHT professional boxing card this Saturday night held an open workout for local media and fans at Modell’s Sporting Goods in Commack, New York.

 Among those attending were heavyweight Vyacheslav “Czar” Glazkov, “The Fighting Pride of Huntington, New York Chris Algieri, Cletus “The Hebrew Hammer” Seldin, Alan Gotay and Anthony Karperis. All of these fighters are undefeated.


Presented by Main Events, Joe DeGuardia’s Star Boxing and Goossen Tutor, NBC Sports FIGHT NIGHT is set for this Saturday, FEBRUARY 23 at The Paramount in Huntington, New York.


The main event of FIGHT NIGHT features a battle of undefeated heavyweights as Vyacheslav “Czar” Glazkov, 14-0-0 (10KO’s) of Lugansk, Ukraine and Philadelphia’s Malik Scott, 35-0-0 (12KO’s) meet in a ten rounder.


Co-headlining FIGHT NIGHT, The Fighting Pride of Huntington, New York, Chris Algieri, 14-0-0 (7KO’s) will face off against Jose “Mangu” Peralta, 10-1-0 (6KO’s) of Jersey City, New Jersey in a ten round junior welterweight bout.


Five additional bouts featuring Seldin, Gotay and Karperis will be featured on the undercard.

Seven bouts are planned for the February 23 card to be held at The Paramount, 370 New York Ave, Huntington, NY.  Doors open at 6:30pm. First fight is at 7:30pm.
