Randall Bailey last fight in November of last year and is currently searching for an opponent, namely Alfonso Gomez. Bailey has called out Gomez and has questioned weather Gomez is a real fighter or not and has questioned his ethnicity.
“This [Bailey-Gomez] is the fight that needs to be made,” said Bailey. “Stop letting fighters pick their own fights. You never hear me disrespect another fighter but this guy is not a real fighter. He is supposed to be Mexican? I don’t think so!”
Gomez has stated that he has no interest in facing Bailey and has stated that he should search elsewhere which did not sit too well with Bailey.
” Where is your Mexican pride? I respect the real Mexicans! You’re a coward. A disgrace to Mexicans! Golden Boy Promotions should be ashamed!”
