Singer/Actor Tyrese Gibson took to social media just a few days ago to address a possible fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao and what he said will not sit well with Pacquiao fans.
“Undefeated for a reason,” said Gibson under a photo of Mayweather. “Say what you want about him ‘running’ from P (Pacquiao), hilarious people. The fight is going to happen. [It will] likely [be] one of the greatest upsets of all times is coming to P (Pacquiao) fans. Say what you want about the champ outside the ring but you can’t deny his work ethic and focus in the ring. Let the hating begin. [People] mainly [talk] about his personal [life]. I just hope one person [will] speak on the hard work, focus and him (Mayweather) being undefeated.”
Maybe Tyrese knows something we don’t know but last night Mayweather said on Showtime that he does want the fight to happen. Will it happen? That has yet to be seen but fuel keeps being added to the fire which will set up a great matchup or another tremendous let down for boxing fans.
